PUBLIC NOTICE - Disciplinary Inquiries in respect of Engineering Practitioners
Notice is hereby given to remind the general public that the Engineering Council, Sri Lanka (ECSL), established under the Engineering Council, Sri Lanka Act No.4 of 2017 has formally formulated "Procedure for Disciplinary Inquiries in respect of Engineering Practitioners" and gazetted it in the Extraordinary Gazette No.2298/27, dated 21.09.2022.
Accordingly, where an Engineering Practitioner is alleged to have engaged in professional misconduct, any concerned person may lodge a complaint with the Engineering Council, Sri Lanka in accordance with the prescribed procedure.
The complaint submission process, together with the relevant guidelines and form, have been published on the official website of the Engineering Council, Sri Lanka at www.ecsl.gov.lk.
The public is hereby informed to refer to the above website for detailed information on the disciplinary framework and the procedure for submitting complaints.
