Registration of Foreign Engineering Practitioners

Instructions to submit the application

1.     Download the application form (Given below)

2.     Fill the part A by the applicant

3.     Fill the part B by the employer

4.     Make the payment (LKR 30,000) to the following Bank account.

      Bank of Ceylon Account Number 87665742 (Torrington Square Branch) 

5.   Email to registrar@ecsl.gov.lk  along with the following attachments.

üScanned application

üPayment slip

üA recent photograph of the applicant

üRelevant certificates

üCopy of the passport

üCurriculum Vitae (CV)

6.     The subject of the email should be “Registration of Foreign Engineering Practitioner”

7.     A separate application is required for each Registration of Foreign Engineering Practitioner.

Who is considered as a Foreign Engineering Practitioner?

A Foreign Engineering Practitioner is a foreign person engaged in engineering practice or engineering-related technical functions in Sri Lanka. This includes persons functioning at different levels and under different designations, ranging from Chartered Engineers to Engineering Technicians, provided that they are involved in engineering practice or engineering related activities.
